Locals in the Spotlight

Support local, original music! At 8 p.m., Monday, May 25, the Live and Local Bands series at Agua Caliente Cathedral City, at 68960 E. Palm Canyon Drive, continues with two energetic sets from Lorna Adams. Lorna and her band performed their very first show in February, but thanks to the shared experience of bandmates including David Williams (Melrose Recording Studios) and Nick Willman (formerly of Silver Sky, Pescaterritory, and Instigator), as well as Adams’ powerful vocals, they’ve become a quick local fave! A DJ will perform between the 8 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. sets by the band. The event at the Agua Caliente Tequila Bar is free to attend, but you must be 21+. For more information, click here. —Matt King
