In “normal” times, the Coachella Valley Independent can be found in 380-plus locations, from Yucca Valley, Desert Hot Springs and Palm Springs, all the way to Coachella, Thermal and the Salton Sea.
However, these are not “normal” times.
Due to the business disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have constantly been shifting our print distribution locations. That’s why our “Find a Copy” map of distribution locations is not here. It will return once the pandemic fades.
For now, here’s a list of locations where you can reliably find the Independent—places that we’re pretty sure won’t be closing:
- All Albertsons locations
- All Vons locations
- Grocery Outlet in DHS
- Whole Foods in Palm Desert
- Augustine Casino
- City of Palm Springs downtown distribution boxes
Beyond these, we remain in hundreds of locations—hotels, restaurants, libraries, etc.—when they are open.
