‘The Art Behind the Scarf’ at Rubine Red Gallery

Rubine Red Gallery, in collaboration with the Vera Neumann Estate, celebrates The Art Behind the Scarf, a special Modernism Week showing and sale of Vera Neumann’s orginal watercolors and vintage scarves, through Monday, March 3.
The show spans the 1940s to 1980s and showcases Vera’s unique sense of style and color which propelled her to fashion stardom, making her a household name throughout the world.
Legendary designer and artist Vera Neumann (1907-1993) believed in art’s ability to inspire and enrich lives. An innovator and one of the most successful female entrepreneurs of her time, Vera built her company on a radical philosophy: Fine art should be accessible to everyone, not just a select few. Known for her iconic images of cheerful flowers, trendy geometrics and vibrant ladybugs, she believed people should surround themselves with beauty. (From Vera: The Art and Life of an Icon.)
Now you can, too—with Vera’s ORIGINALS! Join us in the Uptown Art District and experience the radiant spirit of Vera Neumann. Rubine Red Gallery is located at 668 N. Palm Canyon Drive, in Palm Springs. Details at rubineredgallery.com and rubineredgallery.com/shows/theartbehindthescarf. (Sponsored Content)
