‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ at Palm Canyon Theatre Takes Place April 18-27

Palm Canyon Theatre proudly presents the powerful stage adaptation of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, based on the celebrated novel by Ken Kesey. This poignant, darkly humorous drama takes audiences deep into the heart of a mental institution, exploring the boundaries between sanity and madness, freedom and control.
After being convicted of a petty crime, the charismatic and rebellious Randle P. McMurphy (Sean Timothy Brown) attempts to avoid prison time by faking insanity. He expects a short stint in a cushy facility but quickly discovers the oppressive regime of Nurse Ratched (Erin Shull) and the harsh realities of institutional life.
The talented cast also includes Ron Coronado as Chief Bromden, Jackson Enzler as Billy Bibbit, Larry Martin as Cheswick, Tim Steele as Scanlon, Nick Edwards as Martini, Brent Anderson as Dale Harding, Alan Berry as Ruckley, Christine Michele as Candy Starr, Janet Patterson as Nurse Flinn, Timothy Rathke as Sandra, David Brooks as Aide Turkel, Bryan Kreissinger Denk as Dr. Spivey, Rob Kreisinger Denk as Aide Warren, and Kristoph Stein-Steele as Aide Williams. A Link Between Palm Springs and Tinseltown

During “Hollywood Meets the Palm Springs Plaza Theatre: A Multimedia Journey,” historian Jim Cook will discuss how the Plaza Theatre helped shape the valley. Attendees will also receive updates on the progress of the restoration.
