Chris Dub (right).

Chris Dub has a mighty bass sound that makes him one of the valley’s standouts; perhaps that’s why he’s the bassist for both Monreaux and Subourbon Outlaw. Monreaux is one of the finalists in the CV Music Showcase; the band will compete against Razor J and the Blades, Wicked Jed, Bridger and Murkocet at the Hard Rock Hotel at 8 p.m., Saturday, May 7. For more information on Monreaux, visit
