Porn as Art

At 6:30 and 9 p.m., Saturday, May 4, you can see for yourself at the Palm Springs Cultural Center, 2300 E Baristo Road. I have gone to many editions of the traveling HUMP! shows, both in Seattle (where it originated) and here in Palm Springs, and this festival is renowned for its daring showcases of short erotic films created by real people, for real people. Trust me: Watching porn, even porn that may not turn you on at all, can be a thought-provoking experience! As a bonus this year, local heartthrob Brent Heinze is in a film!
