Morongo Casinoโs new Poolside Playback series is a perfect place for summer songs. The Thursday night concert series takes over the Oasis Pool at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, at 49500 Seminole Drive, in Cabazon, from 7 to 10 p.m. every week through the end of September. A 21-Year Journey

Screening at 7:30 p.m., nightly, through Sunday, June 21, at the Palm Springs Cultural Center, at 2300 E. Baristo Road, the documentary follows Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie over a remarkable 21-year journey. Born into a lineage that includes 38 generations of Orthodox rabbis and Israelโs chief rabbis, Lau-Lavie wrestles with tradition while carving out an identity that is distinctly his own. The film traces his evolution into a drag-queen performer, queer father and founder of Lab/Shul, an experimental congregation built around inclusion, creativity and community. The Wanderlust Food Truck Festival is launching in Palm Springs from 6 to 11 p.m., Saturday, June 20, at Sunrise Park, at 480 S. Sunrise Way. The new weekly Saturday-night gathering is bringing a rotation of more than 20 food trucks and local food vendors together in one place. Since the 1960s, Dylan has turned the music world on its head, adding deep artistic merit to sonic experiments in acoustic ballads, rock anthems, bluesy excursions and more โฆ so much so that he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016.
