Tiny Treasures
If you want to celebrate life on a tiny scale, the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts is bringing its 2026 National Convention to the La Quinta Resort and Club, at 49499 Eisenhower Drive, and the public is invited. From 2 to 5 p.m., Saturday, July 25, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, July 26, visitors can browse detailed miniature exhibits and wander through a sales room packed with dollhouse furnishings, handcrafted accessories and other pint-sized collectibles. Summer Art Party
Escape the July heat and enjoy some art! Living Out Palm Springs, at 1122 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, will become a sprawling art gallery during the Living Out Art Walk, featuring 450-plus original works by more than 75 LGBTQ+ artists from across the Coachella Valley. The free event runs from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 26. While the artwork is the main attraction, it will also be a party: Gertie’s Salon and Bar will be open, and at 5 p.m., singer Gennine Francis will be entertaining folks as they sip and walk. This is the perfect way to discover a new local artist, catch up with friends over a cocktail, and spend a couple of hours surrounded by creativity.
