Author Archives: Beth Allen
A desert rat at heart, Beth Allen left 26 years of city life in San Francisco to Morongo Valley in 2017. A graphic designer, artist and writer, she’s been an alt-newspaper junkie since 1990, when she started working in the production department at the Santa Barbara Independent. After 2 years there, she spent eight years at the San Francisco Bay Guardian, followed by seven years at the Pacific Sun in Marin. Beth prefers the offbeat, kooky and weird of the world, and spends her free time rocking and rolling. A full account of her musical and artistic endeavors can be found at bethzombie.com.
