Get spiritual with some folk music! At 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, singer/songwriter Alicia Jo Rabins will perform at United Methodist Church of Palm Springs, at 1555 E. Alejo Road. The event kicks off the Slava Steinberg Memorial Concert Series for Or Hamidbar, a synagogue in Palm Springs. Rabins’ set will feature the “Girls in Trouble” song cycle, a group of original songs performed as a unit, about the experiences of different women in the Torah. This annual event brings together wellness experts and community partners for a full day of education, connection and fun.
