Eat Well, Do Good

DAP Health volunteers at Eight4Nine Restaurant and Lounge at Dining Out for Life.

Dining Out for Life, one of DAP Health’s most important fundraisers, takes place throughout the day on Thursday, April 25. Last year, Coachella Valley restaurants helped raise $270,000 by donating between 33% and 110% of DOFL day sales (THANK YOU, Townie Bagels) to HIV/AIDS services. Participation is easy: All you have to do is go out to eat at a participating restaurant! On the eve of Dining Out for Life—from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 24—a Bar Crawl on Palm Springs’ Arenas Road serves as the official kickoff. Volunteers will punch each revealer’s passport at all seven participating bars; if you get all your holes punched, you will be entered into a drawing to win fabulous prizes.
